BE-ANG WELL

Being well includes all aspects of our being... body... mind... spirit. We begin to ask...

How Do I Stay Healthy?
Get a group of Baby Boomers together and ask them about their primary concern, chances are the answer will have something to do with wellness. Wellness is more than just not getting sick and Boomers are clearly focused on its importance in all aspects of our lives. While life does not provide us a warranty on our physical bodies we can go a long way towards empowering our own wellness by the choices we make. There is no substitute for information. The more informed you are the better choices you can make. Take an active role in your wellness. Be your own wellness advocate. Search... ask... learn... seek professional advice.

What Do I Want To Learn?
"You are never too old to lean." That old adage was never truer than it is today. You may wish to simply take a class that interests you or you may wish to prepare for a new career by getting another degree. Did you postpone your educational career because of family or military obligations? Would you rather learn on location? It's not too late and you can use the world as your classroom.

What Does It All Really Mean?
Many of us seek a connection to something greater than ourselves. For some that connection comes through fellowship in a formalized traditional religion. Other's hunger for meaning and connection may not be satisfied by a religion yet they consider themselves to be spiritual. Some people appreciate religion and attend a church regularly but still find themselves compelled to continue the search for that "something more." Whether it's a deeper exploration of your own religion.the search for a new faith.or simply the drive to find meaning, begin by giving yourself the most precious gift of quiet. Spirit often speaks no louder than a butterfly.
